Our Mission
The mission of the NEOHC Regional Extension Center (REC) is to furnish assistance, defined as education, outreach, and technical assistance, to help Priority Primary Care Provider's (PPCP's) in our geographic service area - to select, successfully implement, and meaningfully use certified Electronic Health Record (EHR) technology to improve the quality and value of health care. This will be accomplished by providing a turnkey process for PPCP's in the region utilizing specific tools, products, services, best practices and proven methodologies.

Our Vision
NEOHC's vision is to use Health Information Technology (HIT) as a catalyst to transform the delivery of health care services to patients across the Northeast Ohio Region. NEOHC will help physicians use technology to more easily communicate with each other, their patients, and various other stakeholders, enabling timely and informed decision-making, improving the quality of care, ultimately reducing the costs of that care. NEOHC supports the "meaningful use" of technology, which systematically streamlines clinical operations, increases office productivity, and enables the secure exchange of clinical data.
